Talk to the Dimensional Rift Doorman just inside any catacomb or necropolis to activate this quest. Hunt monsters whose names contain Lookout, Watcher, Guard, Monk, Overlord, Shaman, Consul, Inquisitor, Guardian, Wiseman, Court Guard and Preacher, excluding Nephilim, Lilim, Gigant and Lith. (The mobs that drop Ancient Scrolls for the Yoke of the Past Quest).

When you earn these fragments, they will go to your main inventory and not your quest inventory, so they can be traded/sold. In order to enter the dimensional rift, every character in your party will need dimensional fragments. The number of fragments required per member depends on the level range for the dimensional rift you want to enter.
