1) High Priest Maximilian is the start point for this quest. He can be found inside Giran Castle Town specifically in Einhasad Temple. He asks of you to find Trader Gentler who can (also in Giran Castle Town) be found due south in the Magic Shop.

2) Trader Gentler is in the Giran magic shop. He tells you that if you find his cat Mickey, whom had gone to get herbs, he will give you a great reward. He further tells you that Mickey was last heard of in the Enterance to the Devils Isle.

3) To get to Devils Isle take the Giran Gate Keeper to the "Enterance of Giran." Once at the Enterance of Giran, follow the road due North West over the bridge. Soon, the path with turn South and lead you to a dock and the enterance to the Pirate Tunnel. You will be swimming across the Pirate Tunnel to Devils Isle. You will need to get Kiss of Eva or be able to heal, its a decent swim. The undead monsters during your swim are passive and will leave you alone, fear not. When at last you surface for air, you should be standing looking at a cove of treasure on your left, and a waterfall to your right.

4) Once in Devils Isle, walk thru the water fall across from the treasure chest cove. You will be in a vast cavern with a broken ship. Mickey the Cat is in this same cavern. Speak with him, and he will tell you that you need to collect 20 herbs from the alligators at Alligator Island. Scroll of Escape back to Giran Castle Town, take the port to Hiene, and take the port to Enterance to the Alligator Island.

5) Once you have ported or ran to Alligator Island, you will need to kill 20 alligators. You will get one herb per alligator. Once you have collected all twenty return to Giran Castle Town and visit Trader Gentler in the Magic Shop.

6) In Giran Castle Town, head to Trader Gentler in the Magic Shop. He will now inform you that he needs 500 Spirt Ore to Complete his task. This costs about 200,000 Adena. Once you have given Trader Gentler the spirt ore he tells you Mikey the Cat will pay you for your troubles. Time to head back to Devils Isle. If you have forgotten refer back to step (3).

7) Devils Isle, Mickey the Cat tells you Trader Gentler is giving you the run around. New meaning to the in game scam I suppose. Head back to Giran and talk to Gentler again.

8) Return to Trader Gentler, now that hes been caught he asks for one more set of supplies before he will make any form of payment for you. He asks for 1000 Thread and 500 Suede This will cost about 500,000 Adena. One he recieves these supplies your quest is at an end.

9) Reward and Quest Finish. After you have given Trader Gentler his thread and suede he pays you in the form of a hair accessory. You can choose from Cat, Racoon, or Rabbit ears. Congradulations on your quest.
